Important: By accessing or using the spotin platform (spotinstudios.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
Liability Notice: spotin's maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question, per incident. Please read Section 7 carefully.
Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below. These definitions apply throughout this document and all related policies published on spotinstudios.com.
"Company" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" / "Spotin"
Refers to Spotin Global Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at 032, Tower H, Spaze Privvy, Sector 93, Gurugram – 122505, Haryana, India (CIN: U63112HR2026PTC145701), operating the platform at spotinstudios.com.
"Customer" / "User" / "You"
Any individual aged 18 years or above who accesses the Platform, browses studio listings, creates a booking, or uses any service on spotinstudios.com. By accessing the Platform, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms. Persons below 18 may use the Platform only through a parent or legal guardian who accepts full responsibility for all activities conducted under their supervision.
"Partner" / "Studio Partner"
Any individual, proprietor, firm, or legal entity that has entered into a Studio Partner Agreement with the Company and whose studio space is listed on the Platform. A Partner is an independent service provider and not an employee, agent, or joint-venture partner of the Company.
"Platform"
The website spotinstudios.com and all associated pages, tools, booking flows, partner portal, and services operated by the Company.
"Booking"
A confirmed reservation made by a Customer for a specified studio, date, and time slot on the Platform, for which payment has been received and a Booking ID has been issued.
1. Service Description
spotin operates as an online marketplace platform connecting users ("Customers") with professional studio spaces ("Studios") for hourly bookings. spotin acts as a facilitator and is not the owner or operator of the Studios listed on the platform.
2. Eligibility & Age Requirements
To use spotin's platform, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using this platform you confirm you meet these requirements. spotin does not knowingly provide services to persons under 18 years of age.
3. User Accounts & Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To make bookings, you may be required to provide accurate, current, and complete information including your name, email address, and phone number.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at [email protected].
4. Bookings & Payments
4.1 Booking Process
- All bookings are subject to studio availability at the time of confirmation
- Hourly bookings can be made for a minimum of 1 hour
4.2 Payment Terms
- Full payment is required online at the time of booking via Razorpay
- Payment is made securely online via Razorpay at the time of booking, using UPI, credit card, debit card, or net banking
- All prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include all applicable taxes including applicable taxes . The displayed price is the final amount payable — no taxes are added at checkout
- The final amount payable including all taxes is shown clearly at checkout before confirmation
4.3 Pricing
Studio hourly rates vary from starting from ₹299 per hour depending on location, equipment, and amenities. All prices are tax-inclusive.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellation by Customer
Customers can cancel bookings directly from the My Bookings page. Refunds are applied automatically based on the timing policy below:
- 48+ hours before booking: 100% refund. Note: Razorpay payment gateway charges of approximately 2% are non-recoverable from the gateway by spotin. These charges are disclosed here as a transparent cost of cancellation. Where feasible, spotin will absorb this cost, but reserves the right to deduct the actual gateway charge (not exceeding 2%) from the refunded amount.
- 24–48 hours before booking: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before booking: No refund
5.2 No-Show Policy
If you fail to show up for your booking without prior cancellation, no refund will be provided. Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension.
5.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days for all payment methods including UPI, credit card, debit card, and net banking.
6. Studio Usage Rules
6.1 Customer Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for your booking. Late arrivals do not extend your booking time
- Treat studio equipment and facilities with care
- Follow studio-specific rules and guidelines provided by the partner
- Do not exceed the maximum occupancy for the booked space
- Leave the studio in the same condition as you found it
6.2 Prohibited Activities
- Illegal activities of any kind
- Creating content that violates Indian laws or regulations
- Smoking, alcohol consumption, or drug use unless explicitly permitted by the studio
- Damaging studio property or equipment
- Subletting or allowing unauthorised persons to use the booked time
6.3 Damage & Liability
You are liable for any damage caused to studio property or equipment during your booking. Studios may charge for repairs or replacement at their discretion. spotin may facilitate payment collection for damages on behalf of the studio.
7. Platform Availability
While we strive for 24/7 availability, spotin reserves the right to temporarily suspend the platform for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues. We are not liable for any losses resulting from platform downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 spotin's Role
spotin acts solely as a platform connecting customers with studio partners. We do not own, operate, or control the studios. Studios are independent businesses responsible for their facilities, equipment, and compliance with local regulations.
8.2 Liability
spotin's liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking in question.
8.3 Disclaimer
The platform and all studios are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. spotin does not guarantee studio availability at all times, equipment functionality or quality, or suitability of studios for specific purposes.
9. Intellectual Property
All content created by you during studio sessions remains your intellectual property. Studios and spotin claim no rights over your creative work. However, we may request permission to feature your work in marketing materials with proper attribution and your explicit consent.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Customer-Studio Disputes
For issues with studios (equipment, facilities, behaviour), contact us at [email protected] within 24 hours of your booking. We will mediate in good faith but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
10.2 Complaints Process
- Email complaints to [email protected] with your booking details and Booking ID
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours
- Resolution will be made within 15 calendar days of acknowledgment, as required under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021
11. Force Majeure
spotin shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, power failures, natural disasters, or other force majeure events. spotin will endeavour to notify affected users promptly when such events impact bookings.
Customer Options During Force Majeure: For bookings affected by a force majeure event, spotin will offer either (a) priority rescheduling to an equivalent studio at no additional cost, or (b) a full refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days — at the customer's election. This is in addition to and not in derogation of any other rights available under applicable Indian law.
12. Arbitration & Governing Law
Disputes shall first be attempted through good-faith negotiation (30 days). If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 — sole arbitrator, seat at Gurugram, Haryana. The arbitral award is final and binding. Either party may seek interim injunctive relief from a competent court. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction for matters outside arbitration.
Statutory Consumer Rights Preserved: Nothing in this clause shall prevent customers from approaching the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District, State, or National) under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Arbitration is an additional voluntary remedy and does not limit or oust any statutory rights available to consumers under Indian law. Customers may at their option approach either arbitration or consumer forums.
13. Modifications to Terms
spotin reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes — including changes to pricing, refund policy, liability, or dispute resolution — we will provide a minimum of 15 days' advance notice via email before changes take effect. For non-material or legally-mandated changes (such as GST rate updates required by government notification), changes may take effect immediately upon posting.
You may reject material changes by discontinuing use of the platform or by writing to [email protected] before the effective date. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, repeatedly damage studio property, or abuse studio staff or other customers.
14A. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the following Grievance Redressal Mechanism is established:

- Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt
- Complaints will be resolved within 15 calendar days of acknowledgment, as required under IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021
- If unresolved within 15 days, the matter may be escalated to the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- All complaints must include your Booking ID and a clear description of the issue

Acknowledgment: By using spotin, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, including the limitation of liability in Section 7 and the arbitration clause in Section 7.
